Course Description:
A study of the methods and devices used to control and protect D.C. and A.C. motors on industrial machinery. Emphasis is on developing, interpreting, and troubleshooting ladder diagram circuits. The course will familiarize the student with a hands-on approach to wiring practices, operation, and troubleshooting of various control and power circuits utilized in the industrial control of motors. This course is 40 hours.
