🤝 Public Entity Partnership

A coalition of 20+ Douglas County organizations working together on public workforce development and regional collaboration.

The Public Entity Partnership (PEP) is a group of over twenty representatives from Douglas County and the cities, school districts, townships, and higher education institutions within it. The Partnership came together in 2019 to encourage regional cooperation and focus on public workforce development.

When we collaborate on projects together, it allows us to share knowledge, resources, and expertise which benefits the entire region. We have worked together to identify the public employee training needs and capabilities of the region, organize joint employee training events, share best practices for employee training, and commit to public workforce recruitment.

Public employee development is an investment in community members that leads to improved public services for the entire region. The Public Entity Partnership is passionate about cooperating on public workforce development and encouraging broader regional collaboration.

The joint efforts of the members of the Public Entity Partnership are an investment in creating a better community for everyone to enjoy.
