Robert and Lois Hanzlik Endowed Scholarship

Robert and Lois Hanzlik have created Peaslee’s first endowed scholarship in the amount of $100,000. This scholarship will serve as a catalyst for the growth of permanent funding and support for future generations. To learn more about the Hanzliks, please click this link

Lawrence Home Builders Association Grant (Carpentry):

In May 2017, LHBA entered into a partnership with Peaslee Tech, pledging $50,000 over five years to enhance the Peaslee’s construction program. This collaboration aimed to proved student scholarships, as well as support for tools, equipment, facilities, and instruction. LBHA has already met their 5 year pledge and beyond the initial contribution, LBHA has continued to support Peaslee Tech with a continued $10,000 a year. In total, LBHA has donated $60,000. 

RISE Grant (Raise Income Security & Equity):

Peaslee Tech’s Raise Income Security & Equity (RISE) program has been instrumental in providing training for livable wage careers, serving approximately 200 participants in the past four years. RISE started as a program to support those who lost their jobs due to COVID and has since transitioned to support tuition assistance for residents from low-income households. 

Lawrence ACACIA Lodge No. 9 Grant (In Memory of Tom Bredley):  

Lawrence Acacia Lodge #9 has been a steadfast supporter of Peaslee since 2018 to help students achieve certifications in many different trades. Acacia Lodge #9 has donated $5,000 annually and these contributions are made in memory of Tom Breyley, a dedicated member who valued the educational opportunities Peaslee Tech offers. They in total have donated $40,000 to Peaslee Tech.
