Enrollment Requirements
Individuals enrolling in this class must have the following:
- A current Kansas CDL A permit
- A Truckers Against Trafficking certificate
- A valid Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
Students must also have no restrictions on their license. If a student has an automatic restriction, they should instead enroll in the CDL Drive Ready class.
This 50-hour course is designed to assist commercial drivers possessing a B license to prepare for the A license exam. To enter the class, participants must possess a valid CDL B license, a current DOT physical card, and have completed the CDL A permit examination for combination vehicle and air brakes.
